Immersion in the French culture

Host-family – Half-board

This is the ideal arrangement for discovering “French life” and quickly improving your French outside language courses and activities.

Our host families are carefully selected and they particularly enjoy meeting foreign students, helping them learn more about French culture and helping them discover French cuisine in a familial and friendly atmosphere.

From 32€/night

  • Single or double room

    You can choose a single or double room, either with someone of the same age or of a different nationality.

  • Half-board

    Breakfast and dinner is included with your host family. Dinner is the ideal time to share a meal with your family and speak in French. A packed lunch can be added on request.

  • Complete immersion

    The host-family option is the best way to be completely immersed in the French language and to integrate into a French family.

  • Transport at arrival included

    Your host family comes and picks you up on your arrival at the airport or at Nice station. In order to organize your transport, please send us the details of your arrival and your flight or train times at least 2 weeks before you arrive. Transport on departure is not included but can be booked for 50 €.

  • Free WIFI

    There is free WIFI connection with all of our host-families.

  • Bedding and towels provided

    You host-family provides bedding and towels.

    One washing machine load per week is included for our under-18 students.

French host- without meals

Living with a French host is the ideal arrangement if you wish to be independent whilst still having contact with a French person.

The idea is to live communally with the host. Our French hosts are generally people living alone or in a couple.

  • Single or double room

    If you are coming alone, we will reserve you a single room. If you are coming with someone, you also have the opportunity of booking a room for two people.

  • Meals not included

    Meals are not included in this arrangement, but you have free access to the host’s kitchen to prepare your meals.

  • Speaking French

    You can chat with your host and have a friendly time speaking French together.

  • Transport not included

    Transport is not included in this arrangement. Transport on arrival or departure can be booked for 50€/trip.

  • Free WIFI

    There is free WIFI connection with all of our French hosts.

    Your French host will provide you with bedding and towels.

Between students

Studio flat in the “Ségurane” student residence

“Ségurane” residence is open during summer (July and August).
Is is the ideal accommodation for students looking for an independent lodging near the old town and the beaches.
The residence has 72 studios equipped with a bathroom with shower, a kitchenette, desk and chair, a warderobe and a single bed.
Wifi is available free of charge.
The residence is located in the harbour area of Nice, a few minutes walk away from the old town and the tramway station. You can reach the school within 15 minutes by public transport.

    Meals are not included in this arrangement. A kitchenette is at your disposal in your studio.

  • Near the old-town

    The residence is situated 5 minutes from the old-town, 15 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes by foot from the school.

    You can book a parking for your car for the duration of your stay. It’s extra and on demand only.

Adagio hotel residence **

Adagio Acropolis is a 2 star residence opposite the Palais des congrès “Acropolis” in Nice and near the famous place Garibaldi.

The studios are between 15 and 18 m2 for 1 or 2 people and are completely equipped with private bathroom, kitchenette, satellite TV, telephone, WIFI and air conditioning.

    Meals are not included in this arrangement. Breakfast service is extra.

  • Near the old-town

    The residence is 600m from the old-town, a 15 minute walk from the beaches and a 20 minute walk from the school.

It is my second time here, and if I can, I will return for a third time. The first time I stayed with a host-family and the second with a French host. Both stays and sets of accommodation were fantastic.

My host-mum was so welcoming and attentive. I really enjoyed living with a host-family because the whole family tried so hard to welcome us and and they also spoke a lot of French with us!

The location was great and our host-mum was kind and welcoming. I really liked my accommodation, the meals were fantastic and the conversations were lovely.

It’s super that the school is only 2minutes from the hotel for those accompanying school groups, and that the host-families are only 20minutes from the school for our students.

Je suis très satisfaite avec ma famille d‘accueil! Joëlle était comme une maman française pour moi. L’appartement était très propre et j’avais tout ce dont j’avais besoin. Elle cuisinait très bien et nous parlions chaque soir ensemble. En plus, elle a fait la lessive pour moi bien qu‘elle ne soit pas obligée de le faire. Pour moi c’était aussi un avantage d’habiter à Cimiez car c‘est très calme. C’était vraiment le bonheur avec Joëlle 🙂

J’ai adoré rester avec Odile et sa famille. Ils sont très sympa et très accueillants. Ils parlaient lentement et clairement avec nous et les repas étaient toujours délicieux.

Ma famille était vraiment super !! Je n’ai jamais reçu un accueil de ce genre, je me suis bien entendue avec tous les membres de la famille (les parents et les enfants), je me suis sentie vraiment chez moi. Ils méritent un trophée !
